Event Public Theatre: A Theatre for All? on the occasion of Public Theatre Day
We invite you to join a conversation about what public theatre means today.
Is it truly for everyone? Who has a voice within it?
Who feels at home there, and who no longer does?
What does “our” theatre mean in times of economic challenges and social tensions?
The meeting will take the form of a Long Table – a performative format of conversation with no division between hosts, speakers, and listeners.
You can join the table, leave it, speak or remain silent – at any time.
On the table, you will find supporting questions to help us identify and explore the themes.
Some topics may feel close to us, while others may seem unfamiliar or uncomfortable.
Together, we will sketch a landscape of public theatre. Every voice will help us see it more clearly.
