Andrzej Wajda THE GAZE
Od 18 May – 11 June 2017:
Andrzej Wajda debuted at the National Stary Theatre by directing Stanisław Wyspiański’s “Wedding” back in 1963, and his last show “Macbeth” by William Shakespeare was staged on the Large Stage in 2004. Not only did Wajda direct 18 plays, 14 TV shows and 19 films for the 14 years of his work with the National Stary Theare, but he also revolutionised the way we think of theatre space and won the Oscar for the lifetime achievements. He also won scores of fans, whose sentiments he read like nobody else.

The show “Andrzej Wajda at the National Stary Theatre” at MICET will be open to visitors between 19 May and 11 June at 11.00-19.00 daily except Mondays. Entry as part of MICET tickets.
