Marta Nieradkiewicz is a delicate, ethereal and expressive blonde who attracted attention already in her first season at the Stary Theatre in significant roles. She made her debut playing one of the five incarnations of the title character in “Wanda”, directed by Paweł Passini. Next came the stirring character of Maria, a simple girl determinedly following her dreams right to their tragic conclusion in a new version of Georg Büchner’s “Woyzeck”, directed by Mariusz Grzegorzek on the Small Stage. Łukasz Maciejewski wrote: ‘The character of Maria, played by Marta Nieradkiewicz, is a virtuous little match girl recalling that she is also a trollop’ (Gazeta Krakowska). Her second role of the season – the Counterphobe in the visually and intellectually intriguing “Genius in a Turtleneck” directed by Weronika Szczawińska, which evoked the figure of Konrad Swinarski – demanded completely different abilities from the young actress. Psychologism yielded to manipulation of form and technical proficiency. Invited by Monika Strzępka and Paweł Demirski to perform in the play “The Undivine Comedy: I’M GONNA TELL GOD EVERYTHING!”, she was responsible, to a great degree, for the shower of awards received by the cast: ‘Perhaps the most memorable part of the play is the final – shall we say – monologue for two voices delivered by Marta Nieradkiewicz and Dorota Pomykała; it’s one of those moments experienced in theatre which you wish to take away with you, preserve in your memory and return to every so often. Very well done!’ (Karol Płatek, Teatr dla Was). Marta Nieradkiewicz attracted attention as Sylwia in the film Floating Skyscrapers (2013), for which she received an award at the 38th edition of the Gdynia Film Festival, a Golden Puppy at the Tadeusz Szymków Festival of Polish Acting in Wrocław and a nomination for a Polish Film Award.
